About Steep Mountain Community Group
Looking for a small group to join? Our group is open to people of all ages and is a great place to grow in community and deepen your understanding of the Bible. Our group consists of adults with children of varying ages and different stages of life. We meet weekly on Sunday's from 4-5:30pm and are a casual, welcoming group that loves to learn, serve, and enjoy life together.
Our group does welcome children, but we’ve currently reached our limit of about 8–10 kids. If you don’t have young children, or if you have older teens, you are still more than welcome to join us—we’d love to have you!

Here's what you can expect:
- 1st Sunday of the month: We get together for a relaxed social outing at different places. It's a a great way to connect and have fun.
- 2nd & 4th Sunday's of the month: We meet at the Johnson home on South Mountain to discuss the Sunday sermon and pray for each other. Young kids are welcome to entertain themselves in the basement, while older teens are welcome to join us for discussion.
- 3rd Sunday of the month: We serve together in the kids ministry and then go to lunch. If you're unable to serve, please still fill free to join us for lunch! No other meeting is scheduled for this day.
- 5th Sunday of the month: We take the day off to rest and recharge.
